METLIFE TO HOLD 2010 TOKYO INVESTOR CONFERENCE

MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) will hold its 2010 Tokyo investor conference in Japan at the Park Hyatt Tokyo at Shinjuku-ku on Wednesday, September 15, 2010, from 2:00 p.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m. Tokyo time (1:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 a.m. New York time).

Presenters will include members of MetLife’s international management team. The conference and the accompanying presentation materials will include statements primarily relating to MetLife’s International business, with a particular focus on the company’s operations in the Asia/Pacific region.
