DAVID J. ROTHENBERG JOINS METLIFE INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT AS MANAGING DIRECTOR IN THE INSTITUTIONAL CLIENT GROUP

MetLife, Inc. (NYSE: MET) today announced that it has hired David J. Rothenberg as managing director and global head of the Institutional Client Group of MetLife Investment Management (MIM). Rothenberg will be focusing primarily on institutional sales.

Rothenberg joins MetLife from Russell Investments, where he most recently served as managing director of Americas Institutional Sales and Service. He also previously served as managing director of Russell Implementation Services. Prior to that, Rothenberg held various roles in institutional sales at Nomura Securities International, Barclays Global Investors, Investment Technology Group, Inc. and Instinet, Inc.

Rothenberg holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and management information systems from Boston University.
